Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
Each article submitted to Tsaqila | Jurnal Pendidikan dan Teknologi undergoes a review process consisting of three main steps, such as:
First Stage:
The editor conducts an initial plagiarism check using Turnitin. Manuscripts with 20% similarity and above are automatically rejected. Manuscripts with no plagiarism or similarity less than or equal to 20% will proceed to the research design review stage. Manuscripts with a good research design will proceed directly to the peer review stage. Conversely, manuscripts that do not present a good research design will be rejected immediately.
Second Stage:
The editor distributes the manuscript to the reviewers. Tsaqila | Jurnal Pendidikan dan Teknologi [TJPT] Journal uses double-blind peer review. Therefore, the editor removes the author's identity, such as name, email and affiliation, before sending the manuscript to the reviewers. Reviewers review the content of the manuscript using the review form provided on the journal website through a special reviewer login. They make recommendations to the Editor on the outcome of the manuscript in the form of a decision to accept, revise or reject the manuscript, stating the reasons.
Third Stage:
The editor sends the results of the peer review to the author. If the manuscript requires revision, but the authors do not revise and provide feedback, the manuscript will be rejected. If, on the other hand, the manuscript is accepted, the authors must be prepared to take their article to the final proofreading stage. If the revised manuscript still contains major revisions, it will be returned to the reviewer; if it contains minor revisions, it will be reviewed and a final decision will be made by the Editor. Authors are entitled to a clear explanation of any decision made.
